Lomi Lomi is an ancestral Hawaiian healing art rooted in the philosophy of Aloha—a way of being that embodies love, harmony, and deep respect for life. More than a massage technique, it is a sacred, intuitive practice that nurtures the body, mind, and spirit as one.
Often referred to as the “loving hands” massage, Lomi Lomi is characterized by long, continuous, flowing strokes performed with the hands and forearms. These movements mimic the rhythm of ocean waves, creating a deeply immersive experience that supports relaxation, emotional release, and energetic balance.
Traditionally passed down by Hawaiian healers, this practice integrates breath, intention, and presence. Each session becomes a ritual of connection—inviting both practitioner and receiver into a state of flow, awareness, and inner harmony.
This course offers a unique journey into both the technical precision and spiritual depth of Lomi Lomi, allowing you to embody touch as a form of healing, care, and transformation.

Course Objectives
- To introduce the foundations of Lomi Lomi as a holistic healing practice
- To develop fluid, intuitive, and continuous massage techniques
- To cultivate presence, intention, and mindful touch

- To provide the skills needed to perform a complete Lomi Lomi session

- The history and cultural roots of Lomi Lomi
- The philosophy of Aloha and its application in bodywork
- Full-body massage sequences using forearms and hands
- Techniques for creating seamless, wave-like movements
- Proper body mechanics and posture for effortless practice
- The integration of breath (Ha) into massage flow
- How to create a safe, respectful, and nurturing space
- Basic anatomy adapted to Lomi Lomi techniques
- The ability to perform a complete Lomi Lomi massage (60–90 minutes)
- Confidence in delivering fluid and intuitive treatments
- A deeper sense of presence and connection through touch
- Practical tools to offer relaxing and transformative sessions
- A holistic understanding of massage beyond technique
- A certificate of completion (20h)

Minimum 90% attendance
