Our founder, Clarissa, grew up in Asia, where tea rituals, herbal remedies, and the power of touch were part of everyday life. Later in life, after experiencing chronic back pain and emotional challenges, she began a journey across Asia to explore traditional therapies firsthand. What she found was more than healing — it was a purpose.
Her path of recovery, discovery, and deep cultural learning became the soul of Clarissaglow Academy.
We exist to create opportunity through touch — especially for those who have been overlooked: individuals with limited access to education, people affected by trauma, or those living with disabilities. At Clarissaglow, we believe touch is not only healing — it’s a skill, a calling, and for many, a gift waiting to be awakened.

Clarissa
Founder and Lead Therapeutic Instructor
Clarissa is more than the founder of Clarissaglow Academy — she is the heart behind its mission. With a federal diploma in adult education and accreditation as a therapist by ASCA and RME, she oversees all therapeutic training at Clarissaglow Academy, guiding it with a clear vision and a commitment to excellence.
After 15 years in aviation, Clarissa made a bold shift to follow a deeper calling: to explore the world of traditional healing. Her journey took her across Asia, where she immersed herself in the wisdom of herbal medicine, yin-yang nutrition, and Thai massage at the renowned Wat Po Medical School. She deepened her understanding of the body through craniosacral work and manual techniques inspired by osteopathy, and went on to become a practitioner of Asian bio-energetic therapy and a teacher-master in Reiki.
At Clarissaglow Academy, Clarissa teaches authentic Asian traditional therapies while also sharing the deeper essence of Asian healing culture — its philosophy, values, and wisdom. Her approach bridges ancient practices with modern realities, helping students and educators not only master the techniques but also understand how to apply them meaningfully in today’s growing wellness industry.
